We initially developed the card game as both a mini-game and a reward system for exploring the map and completing as much of the game as possible. Our initial feedback however is that people love the artwork and concept and have been interested in playing the game in its own right. So, we'd love to hear whether you agree. Should we be selling the card game separately? If we do, should it be online, a physical card set or both?

Hello and welcome to the Runes Forum! We're excited to share with you our latest updates, get your feedback and answer any questions you may have. Runes has been a long time in the making for us. We were keen to develop not just a new medieval open world RPG, but one that put characters, story and lore first. In other words a new world that all can enjoy delving into. To make this as exciting as possible, we want your help to steer the development of the game. So please do share your thoughts on what you would like to see. What do you think of our characters, story and artwork? Do you like the card game we're creating? Maybe you have an idea for a new storyline or quest? Perhaps you're a budding artist that wants to see their work in the game itself. In short, contribute however you would like.
